Laguna Beach

I LOVE driving south down the 5 freeway, traffic or no traffic, blasting some Hendrix and answering the same question over and over and over again.
"Momma, where are we going?"
"To the Beach" I respond over and over and over again.
"Grandma and Grandpa's beach?"
"Yes Kingston, Grandma and Grandpa's beach"
"Momma, where are we going?"
"To the moon" I finally reply
My grandparents (my baba's GREAT grandparents) have lived in Laguna Beach since I was a very young child. I remember playing "Red Light, Green Light" on their long front pathway, playing "Hide and Seek" amongst my grandmother's perfect Rose bushes and riding my bike along the driveway. But my fondest memories were of the beach.
Now I am so fortunate to share those memories with my children. There is nothing more amazing than watching my children play along the same stretch of beach that I grew up on. Jumping off the same HUGE rock into the splashing waves, walking up the same hill ever so tired back to grandma and grandpa's, the same cold hose ridding our sunburnt bodies of all things sand.
I swear the ocean in Laguna is special.
I will love it forever.
That is "Uncle James' my handsome (and single) baby brother

Jatin is a fish, he always has been super comfortable in water.
King on the other hand takes a while to warm up
today it took him over an hour before he got his little toes wet.

King went home to Grandma's and proceeded to draw "fishies"

The most amazing part of my day today was watching my boys interact with their GREAT grandparents. What a beautiful way to spend a day.

Happy 4th of July

This is what we did all day:)
