More Industry Kids

I've been working a lot lately.

Building my portfolio, Holiday Sessions and the year round demand for newborn photography 

keeps me focused and alive. It is very refreshing after being a stay at home mom for the last 9+ years to be able to work while my children attend the most amazing elementary school in L.A. 

I'm bragging, I know…..I'll stop.

But seriously. 

I am blessed.

So here is a beautiful little girl I photographed over the summer. 

Erris.

Sweet and extremely intelligent, I have spent many days with this flower child. She is usually a bright light but on this day she was very mellow. She didn't really want to smile which I was completely fine with. She is a supermodel in the making. Laura, this one is a rare gem.

This summer in between the pool, beach, play dates and museums

I was working hard at building a better brand and a more "Industry" friendly website. 
Most of my work to date has been

family and newborn photography which I absolutely love but with

my background in the modeling and acting world it seemed only

fitting that I once again work alongside Industry professionals and build up

my portfolio.

To start us off,

Here is little Hayley.

 I have photographed Hayley a number of times but nothing for her acting work.

I absolutely love this girl, she is smart, funny and loves a good laugh. She drew a photo of me taking her picture. It is on my fridge to this day:)

Beauty and Lifestyle Photography

I have been so very blessed to have the most wonderful and beautiful friends.

My friend here, Rochelle, is about to become a mother.

After our initial celebration she asked if we could

shoot some fresh looks for her portfolio before her

belly started to POP.

We headed to my favorite spot,

Manhattan Beach, and shot around the scene.

Rock & Roll Nights

My husbands BFF is a total

Rock Star.

Rami has toured every venue,

played with every famous musician

and seriously lives a rock star life.

He allowed me to completely take over his recording studio

one day and with a little help from an amazing team of

hair, make-up and styling we had

a rock and roll editorial.

LA Models Test Photographer

As I continue to build my fashion and beauty photography portfolio I had a great opportunity to shoot LA Models, Renee. She is so beautiful. Having grown up on the island of Oahu we chose a little surfer look and with Barbara Guillaume doing the hair, makeup and final details of the styling together we had a very stylish Venice beach photo shoot.

Tracy was such an angel. 

Originally from Minnesota she is in the process of relocating from Paris

to Los Angeles and I got to shoot her new headshots. Yippee!!!

Tracy is 5'11" (maybe even taller) and all legs so we shot a few 

fashion shots and a few headshots.

She was such a sport and let me play around with the lights and poses.

She was such a dream to shoot, 

so beautiful, elegant and she knew exactly what to do in front of the camera.

My intentions for this shoot was to update my book and add a little more fashion
